This weeklong intensive is designed for absolute beginners ready to start their yoga journey and seasoned practitioners who want to return to the foundations and refine their practice.
Across four classes we’ll slow things down, break it apart, and then build it back together. Growing your understanding of the practice on a physical, spiritual and philosophical perspective.
By the end of the week, you’ll feel:
EDUCATED in commonly used postures, how to practise them with your body’s own unique quirks, injuries, or modifications.
INSPIRED to play with what your own bodies capabilities when It comes to movement, breathwork, and meditation.
CONFIDENT walking into any yoga class knowing the postures, the philosophy, and how to support your body within them.
WHAT THE INTENSIVE COVERS
• What yoga is, where it comes from, and how its philosophy shows up in practice
• How to breathe diaphragmatically, on and off the mat
• How to practise common postures with clarity, confidence, and intelligent modification
• How to work with your body, not against it
• Space for questions, guidance, and real support
• A 2 week unlimited pass to the Collaborative to help you apply what you've learnt.
As with all classes at The Collaborative, this intensive is warm, welcoming, and deeply supportive, with plenty of lols along the way.
