Embodied Philosophy

Overcoming perfectionism + procrasination.

We all know the feeling: there’s something you really want to do, but perfectionism creeps in, procrastination takes hold, and suddenly you shrink back. You tell yourself you’re not capable, not ready, not enough, and you feel shitty that yet again, you’ve held yourself back from your own dream.

We see you, babe. And we want you to know, you are not alone.

In Yogic philosophy, these blocks are called the Antarayas: the nine obstacles of the mind, body, and energy that keep us from showing up fully in life.

The good news? These “blocks” aren’t signs you’re failing, they're signs that you've hit a power spot, that you're moving in the direction of you dreams, that you just need to learn how to work with the feelings of procrastination and perfectionism.

In this workshop, Helen Wilkes will take you on a deep yet accessible journey into how Yoga helps us move through these obstacles, not just on the mat, but in every area of our lives

What we’ll cover:

  • The Antarayas – what they are, how to spot them, and how to dissolve their grip.

  • Tools to shift out of doubt, perfectionism, procrastination, and self judgment, so you can finally follow through.

  • Guided practices, rich conversation, and aha! moments that will change how you see yourself and your capability to live your best life.

You’ll walk away realizing that the parts of yourself you’ve been ashamed of, the procrastinator, the perfectionist, the self doubter, are actually just human. And you’ll learn exactly how to work with them so they stop holding you back.
